Putting residents at the centre of their care – Co-creating person centred care – Toolkit launch

Co-creating person centred care – Toolkit launch

Join Age Cymru on Wednesday 22 January at University of South Wales, Treforest Campus, for the exciting launch of a new toolkit to support the wellbeing of older care home residents.

Age Cymru has developed the toolkit to bring together helpful resources to enable care homes, families and friends to create the ideal environment for supporting a resident’s wellbeing by putting older people at the centre of their care.

The toolkit, funded by Welsh Government, has been informed by conversations with care home residents and staff, drawing on a wealth of knowledge and experience to better understand and meet needs.

Join Age Cymru at one of two launch events to:

  • Find out more about how you can use the toolkit in your care home
  • Hear powerful examples of how putting people at the centre of their care can impact their lives
  • Network with others and share best practice

The free events are open to anyone who works in a care home in Wales, including managers, activity coordinators and care workers; and also, those interested in supporting the wellbeing of care home residents. Places are limited, so please reserve your place using the relevant booking link below.

Free on-site parking is available at both venues and lunch will be provided.
