Reflecting on Evidence: Telling lies to people with dementia: Is it ethical?

Thursday 23 January,1.30pm to 3pm (Online session)

In this session, we’ll discuss this open access article: An ethnographic study to develop a taxonomy of lies for communicating with people with moderate to severe dementia

This paper explores the ethics relating to telling lies to people with dementia. It also challenges whose truth is the most important and explores our own emotions in relation to telling lies.

We'll invite you to talk together and reflect on what this could mean for you and your practice.
