Creativity and participation in evaluation

Nick Andrews and Dr Sofia Vougioukalou

There are 24 places available in this session. Places will be allocated on a first come, first allocated basis

Throughout all of our sessions we emphasise the importance of effective participation and engagement in evaluation. However, this session will provide more detail on why effective participation is so important, as well as exploring creative and participatory tools you can use to increase engagement and measure impact. This will include the use of storytelling, images and videos for evaluation as well as engaging methods such as magic / tragic moments and most significant change.

By the end of this session you will:

  • understand the value of effective engagement and creativity in evaluation.
  • have a variety of tools to undertake creative and engaging evaluative methods.
  • feel empowered to develop your own engagement practices and creativity in evaluation
