New Models of Residential Children's Care Community

The New Models of Residential Children's Care Community connects practitioners with the people, information and tools they need to make sure that children who are looked after are supported to thrive, regardless of their start in life.  

The group is open to local authority Responsible Individuals and service managers who lead the development of residential services on behalf of a local authority.  

It’s designed to help people who are leading the local operational response to the Welsh Government’s programme of transformation for children’s services in Wales.  

The community of action aims to support members who are developing residential children's services at pace. We support members with future planning and innovative approaches.

Members can share ideas and resources and support each other with challenges.
