Building connected care: Help shape the future of information sharing in social care
We’re inviting people working across social care in Wales to join us at one of our upcoming interactive sessions. These in‑person events are a chance to share your experiences, highlight what matters most, and help shape a better, more connected approach to information sharing.
Event details
24 February, 9.30am to 3pm
Leonardo Hotel, Cardiff
17 March, 9.30am to 3pm
Venue Cymru, Llandudno
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
What we’ll cover
Perhaps you’ve experienced frustrations with the lack of information you’ve been provided for a person within your care? Maybe a discharge notice from a health setting was missing key information? Or perhaps additional information would have supported your decision making?
Whatever your experience is with shared information, we want to hear it. You don’t need to bring solutions (though we welcome them if you have them!).
The day will include introductory talks on the work we are doing to modernise the way we use and share information, along with practical workshops where you can share your experiences and help us to explore possible solutions.
The session won’t require any technical knowledge and is suitable for everyone.
Hearing different voices is key, especially from people who don't usually feel they have an opportunity to share.
Your insight and experience are vital to shaping a system that works better for the people of Wales. We look forward to the possibility of welcoming you to one of the sessions.
Who these events are for
We’re looking for perspectives from:
- social care practitioners
- managers
- support staff
- safeguarding teams
- social workers
and anyone involved in people’s care to help us both improve outcomes for the people you support and to have a positive impact on your experience at work.
