Volunteering journeys: Navigating the uneven terrain of volunteering as a route to paid work in regulated social care services

This report looks at volunteering journeys as a pathway to paid work. 

The report builds on previous research into the social care volunteering landscape in Wales.  It aims to gain deeper insights of the factors that shape the experiences of these groups, and their journeys from being volunteers to paid workers. 

This research was carried out by the Centre for Charity Effectiveness at Bayes Business School and the University of South Wales.
