We've launched our new Research, innovation and improvement skills resource
We’re excited to share that the Research, innovation and improvement skills resource is now live.

"Simple, helpful, in one place - for those who are time poor."

What’s it all about?
You told us that there were barriers to research, innovation and improvement.
We commissioned research a few years ago that identified several barriers, such as a lack of time or a perception that developing skills in these areas could be complex and difficult.
As a result, we’ve created this resource to support the development of research, innovation and improvement skills across the social care workforce.
What’s included in the resource?
We want to help people working in social care find relevant training and resources to develop their research, innovation and improvement skills. The resource includes links to useful opportunities written in plain language and simply laid out.
We’ve grouped our signposts into four key themes:
“I've had a chance to explore the site, and I have to say, it looks fantastic! The layout is clear, and the resources seem incredibly valuable. I'll definitely be sharing this with the team and others within Torfaen. Thanks again for sharing this with me and including me in this important work.”
- Jim Wright, Development and Day Opportunities Manager at Torfaen County Borough Council.
